History

hay

In 1977 with fresh peaches from their peach orchard in hand, E.W. and Rubye Hallford opened shop on Main Street. The building they found was originally a feed store and still had bales of hay inside. The Hallford couple improvised and used these hay bales as shelving units for their boxed peaches.

When winter rolled around they decided to keep the place open year-round by starting a health food store, which still stands today. Quality, selection, and customer service have made the store what it is today.
